Folks,

I feel a little stupid asking this, but I need some help installing a Nintendo power cord in my DK JR. I removed the old cord, but it appears the only way to install it is to remove the molex connecter as it won't fit through the hole in the cabinet.

How do I remove .093 female pins from a molex connector? I have a .093 extraction tool, but I think it only works on male pins.

Any help would be appreciated.

A small jewelers screw driver sometimes works. Pull slightly on the wire from the back as you insert the screw driver on the other side and push down the 2 locking tabs. This may release the connector. Don't get to brutal or you may damage the locking tabs making them not fit back in correctly. I've done this many times successfully.

Thanks Sirius ... I used my jewelers screwdriver and it worked, but what a pain in the butt ... I think I am going to email Bob and recommend he leave off the molex connector ... This will make the install process much easier ...
