Nintendo Popye worth?

Lets make a Popeye game where you're running around grabbing a bunch of hearts. Are you kidding me?!?! WTF? Popeye should be kicking some ass. This is one of the lamest games Nintendo came out with... and it is priced accordingly. On the bright side, you should be able to convert it to DK with little trouble.

Dont forget.... Popeye is horizontal, DK/DK Jr/DK3 are vertical.

Someone sold a working one around here for $100 a week ago. I thought about getting it but I am really outta room and I am not sure this would get a whole lot of play.

I played the game when it came out. I liked it at first but it got boring pretty quickly. If you are a fan of Popeye or cartoons it's not a bad novelty item, but as a game it was just okay.

I don't think I've played it in 25 years.

No I miss the boat on it also, even though I saw the listing 10 minutes after is was posted on CL I sat on the fence for to long deciding if I should buy it or not. Now its gone

Too bad...would have been nice to see a KLOV get it, especially when there are not too many of us in the Vancouver area.

I grabbed the $20 Gigass (DK. Jr. Cab) last week. Also had first dibs on the $75 Space Invaders too, but just never followed thru on it. (I was in Seattle when I called him)
