Lately I have had an unusually large number of requests for these. As you can see I have the parts for quite a few.

Right now I only have one working, which I just completed. I will work when I can to complete some more, but my next week is pretty busy. I would love to be able to get one to everyone that wants one, but don't think I will have enough for all of the requests. I promise that these will look and work way better than any you will find on eBay, and probably be less expensive too. Again, only one for sale right now, and I want to do this as fair as I can. So the first one to chime in via PM gets it. $95 shipped.

These should work on the Vs. too. However, it has only been tested on a Playchoice, because that is all I have.

Check out my album of completed guns. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/album.php?albumid=341

Edit: I will use this post to keep a running list of those who want one, in order of those who responded from this point on. The top person will have first opportunity to purchase as soon as I finish up the next one.

Waiting list:
Firefgtn8
needhelp
Magog
jayleone
jarnold007_1
skforty
Riptor

Put me on the list, I have been looking for one for a while! Is there a choice of color? I can send payment ASAP send paypal info.

Thanks,
Carmen

Ok, you are next... As soon as I finish the next one I'll let you know and put up some pics. I don't need payment until then. I have cases in the usual orange, blue and pink. I also have that custom red one that you can see in the picture at the top.

Testing completed! So here's the word........they DO work on Vs.! I am very happy to eat my words from my original post and to clear up the controversy. The difference between the two only matters for the connectors to the main harness, so if you have that you're good to go.

BUY THESE FINE GUNS!

Please elaborate. Why? What are the differences? What adjustments need to be made?

They have different connectors on them:

I have both systems, and will try and test some out over the weekend.

edit: testing completed and results posted above.

I even left a PC gun connected to my Hogan's Alley and a Vs. gun on my PC-10 for the hell of it.

(You have some nice looking guns, by the way)

5 people on the waiting list now. I will continue to add names to the list, but cannot guarantee getting past that unless I get some more spare parts.

On that note:

WANTED: non-working Playchoice and Vs. guns for parts!

I sent you a PM a few days back.
I need one for a VS duckhunt

Added. Although I have always been hesitant to sell guns for the VS because I cannot test then and I am not certain that they are compatible. According to Raven they are not, although he has yet to prove it.

i have a VS. gun that works but has a destroyed Black casing. PM if you would want it for parts...

Ive been eyeing your reconditioned guns. Put me on the list.

The debate that PC guns work on the VS has no definitive answer. People have said theres has worked and some have said it doesnt. Never tried on a VS so I can not say it doesnt but supposedly the difference is in the connections.

Pulled from Peters site. Notice the difference. Does it matter? I have no clue.

The gun I had which is making its way to Riptor had a Black rubber coating on it rather than the orange and blue plastic.

Does anyone know the history of these Nintendo guns. What was with the rubber?? Did that come first with the switch to the more durable plastic? Does anyone have a preference for one or the other?

With some much appreciated assistance from Raven, it has been proven that Playchoice guns and VS guns are interchangeable.

However, I would like to reemphasize the point that I make and test these guns solely on a Playchoice system. So I encourage anyone purchasing their gun for a VS or a Unisystem conversion to ask questions before buying.

Thanks again Raven!

That's correct. I think for VS. you need that additional wire on the connector. I probably answered my own question above that the rubber casing was made prior to playchoice and was found on VS. machines.
