nintendo playchoice gun

I just finished rebuilding my PC10 light gun. Pretty simple to take apart and clean, you just need the special tool and the rest just takes a bit of patience. I found some wires that were split right at the base of where the cable fits into the swivel base. The metal housing was pretty beat up and so was the bunch of wires under it. But everything about it works perfectly now.

where did you get your tool

Is it the 4.5mm ?

okay now what

So I got the tool thanks for the help guys, opened it up and found a big mess inside, broken wires loose contacts and even the plastic film inside was ripped up. I reproduced the plastic film that goes around the spinning contacts not sure if I needed to are not but I did anyway re soldered all the wires and re flowed the circuit board cleaned and straighten all the contacts cleaned everything up and put it back together now it always fires but I'm lucky to hit a bird the whole game seems like it only works sometimes despite making the shooting sound every time. So I took apart a zapper and took out the optic part and the chip or what ever that thing is and replaced all the caps, put it back together and got the same thing. Put the old parts back in the zapper and it still works perfect. What should I look at now? By the way I took the glass out and had to turn off all the lights for it to hit even a duck or two out of the whole game. My monitor is nice and bright just recapped with a slight burn in not bad at all, but does have some from the menu.
