Working on a Nintendo cabinet.

Does anyone have dimensions or suggestions for repairing the piece of wood below the glass window?

Mine is slightly damaged.

Thanks!

I bought a couple of Nintendo control panels from them and they are perfect.

As far as restoring one, you can paint, sand, paint etc. You can also wrap with black vinyl.

Yeah i saw that piece when it was in the cabinet you showed me..

I can take a shot at making one tomorrow night .

Go figure, both Nintendo cabs I picked up have the same piece needing fixed. 😋.

Or you can get a cheap hand router at harbor freight and two router bits and make it yourself pretty easily.

Or i can just go to work, and take a brand name router off the shelf for free .
But i have another method that might work better.

Yeah take a stab at it and let me know how it goes. The link to the cab plans is really helpful.

How is it going?

Spent a half hour in home depot looking at wood.
Also , i took my own measurements from my DK Jr on friday.
wood seems thicker than one inch.

The cuts are no problem, its finding a decent piece of matching wood thats killing me.

Go to a lumber yard, they will usually have much better wood than home Depot.
