So I'm putting an order in at Bob Roberts and getting a bunch a cap kits. I have a DK cabaret that I can't seem to match up with anything on his site. Mostly because I can get a good look at the monitor board

Here's what I have for the Monitor list. This is the first time I'm ordering caps kit so if something seems out of line please chime in. I really don't want to bother Bob if I don't have too.

If I have a choice between a couple monitors i could probably pic the on out I have

Here's what I have

Daytona USA k7500
Punchout 20EZ
Gorf k4600

What are my options for the DK cabaret...it kinda looks like the 20ez again I know know they are kind of unique because of the volume POTs

Thanks!

it's probable that you have a 14" version of the 20EZ in your DK cabaret. there are two versions of the 14" Sanyo, one that Nintendo used with the on-board audio section and volume pot and one that Atari used that does not have audio support.

easy way to tell the difference without getting into the cabinet is to pull the bezel and look at the front of the monitor next to the tube, probably on the right side. there should be a series of pots. if it's a Nintendo Sanyo it'll have a volume pot, if it's Atari it won't but should still have pots. if it's a 13" from some other manufacturer it won't have any pots as the front is an odd location for 'em.

i don't know if there is a difference in the cap kit between the Nintendo and Atari versions but i do know the 20EZ kit works for the Nintendo version as i used it on my cabaret Space Demon many moons ago.

of course, you can always ask Bob for clarification once you know which version you have.
