Monitor has a greenish color too it, I believe the blue is not present. I just recapped the monitor (pain in the ass) I believe it was the greenish color prior to recapping. Any advice would help. I open and needed to be resoldered. This fixed that problem, is something similar to that possible? Here is a photo of the monitor

sorry what I posted did'nt appear correctly what was meant to be said was I had a similar problem with a G07 and I had several cold solders on the pins on the connector from the board. Could this be the same type of problem or is there something else?

I'm going to ask a dumb question, you did try to adjust the blue didn't you? I don't think your blue is completely missing, I can see it in the picture (you can't make skin color with no blue, for instance)

The only time I have run into missing colors on a Nintendo monitor personally was due to a cracked pot on the neckboard. If I am not mistaken they are little 200 Ohm plastic/ceramic units that crack fairly easily. The ones I have broken were due to mishandling during a cap kit (I did it). This may not be your problem but it is what I have experienced....

I've also had neckboard transistors go bad on a couple.

PunchOut is notorious for bad color proms on the game board. Swap the video from top to bottom and see if the problem stays in the top monitor.

I've tried adjusting it and at times it seems like the blue is present but for the most part it seems completely green. It will also turn red if the red is overly adjusted. I'll try adjusting it again and check the pots on the neck board.

I believe Dokert is right, I believe its a bad prom. I changed the monitor connector and the problem followed to the bottom monitor. Do you know which proms I should switch to try and fix the problem?

I found a former message board that I believe ID's the color proms. Any idea where I can get a pro burned? I have an extra dk board I wonder if I can pull from it?

The color PROMs are 82s131's. From the MAME source, 6e and 7e are red, 6f and 8e are green, 7f and 8f are blue. Not sure which is top and bottom, but that should be easy enough to figure out. It may be easiest to swap them and see if that's the problem (although it'll look wrong, you'll get color at least). Mine are all labeled, but if yours aren't, like D said, don't mix them up .

Edit: 2600 - PM sent .
