cool you should post this at nintendoage.com too. You might have some luck there. There is some very hardcore Nintendo Collectors there. free bump :)

How weather proof do you think these are? Like, can I stick one on the window of my store? Think it would it last? It would look really cool and we sell a ton of old Nintendo stuff...

its an exterior grade vinyl show should hold up nicely
and the solvent inks should hold up pretty well.

Sounds good, I am ordering a set now.

Thanks.

You need to do some Sega & Atari art like this.

And Colecovision, Intellivision, etc, etc... :)

what might be a better solution is to just vinyl cut these logos
Nintendo in red, Sega in blue or silver, Atari, etc.

especially for window applications and could be done for exterior or cut in reverse for interior glass apps. would definatly last longer outside and still make for some great
game room wall decor.

if theres interest Ill work up some with some sizing, pricing and color options.
but anyone interested can PM me for vinyl cuts anytime.

That would actually be very cool. Although I would still want to mount them outside, I know from the two stores I've run vinyl looks much better on the outside of glass than the inside, it just shows up better..

Wow, it's taken me 7 months to finally get these Repro Nintendo Logos on my newly restored PC-10 cabinet. I think it looks pretty sweet, and it was a hell of a lot easier to apply than the NOS Side art underneath it. God I hate NOS stuff. Crinkles, dry spots, missing adhesive, curled coners etc. You 'NOS only' guys baffle me. Awesome work Rich:

As long as NOS art has been stored properly since it was made, NOS owns. Especially in the case of CPOs. NOS cpos I've applied have lasted 6+ years without cracking at the bends, vs. new repro cpos that crack after not even a year. And it's apples to apples insofar as the surface in my case; always powdercoated metal.

Talking with some of the silkscreeners they believe it's a function primarily of the adhesives used back in the day, many (all possibly) of which are not available now, and also maybe in part due to that today's printing material is made differently than in was in the 80's.
