So my joystick on my Punch-Out!! is sloppy and I want to make it more responsive. The switches work fine, but theres a ton of play from switch to switch. Is there a kit I can get to rebuild this sucker, or do all I need is that round ball looking thing that hits the switches when you move the stick? Mines pretty worn, and barely there. It still centers ok.

These should be all the parts you need.
Of coarse they should only be replaced if worn.

As far as the ball you mentioned, the only ball on a Nintendo stick is the ball swivel and it cannot be replaced, try flushing it with kerosene or similar and packing it with a light grease.
I've not come across one yet that didn't clean up and work great after it was flushed, cleaned and lubed.
