I admittedly know jack frickin crap about nintendo cabs. There I said it...
Would someone be so kind as to confirm or deny what this cab is?
My best guess is that it is a VS system by the control panel, but its odd that it has DK bezel and DKjr color?
Can someone post a pic of a VS pcb that plays Super Mario Bros against a pic of a mario bros PCB? So I might know a little more about it when I go to check it out in the am!
Are Vs pcb's and Donkey Kong pcb's interchangeable? I have a DK boardset can I plug it in to this cab (If its a Vs)

its got a vs control panel and smb is vs, would be a hack job to play any classics with that control panel... gotta be a vs.

Is there a tag on the back of the cab?
It looks like it originally was a DKJR cab converted to Mario Bros.

Arcade and Amusement Machines

By the color of the Cab i would say it's a DKJR CAB!
A DK Bezil, You can know for sure what it started out as by opening up the back and looking around the Monitor/Pots You might find a Tag that says DKJR.

Or the plates on the back of the machines Kinda give away what it used too be.

Thanks again for your input guys

That's a very rare Frankenninty.

But seriously, unless the cab has been repainted, that's a DK Jr Cab. It's pretty common to seem them converted to Vs. games (like the Vs. Super Mario that appears to be in there now.)

If you wanted to play DK on it you'd need the harness.
You might need a power supply (I'm not positive on that one).
You might need a control panel too.
Assuming it's got Vs. Super Mario in there now, you'd need to mount the monitor vertically as well, which would take a few mounting parts but nothing expensive.

What I would do is convert it back to a DK Jr. because that's what it appeared to be originally. You can easily swap out the DK Jr. PCB with a DK PCB, no hacking or anything required there.

Yeah, with some work, it could be converted back to DK Jr. or DK or whatever. Though you are looking at rewiring the cabinet and remounting the monitor. Vs. games can be fun as well. SMB, Dr. Mario or Excitebike would be alright with me. What do they want for it?

I am relatively sure that the only thing that PC10 shares a wiring pinout with is Punch Out and Arm Wrestling (same board as Punch Out). The Vs. pinout is an animal unto itself.
