I've confirmed with the serial plate and various interior tells that this red Nintendo cabinet with the unusual profile is a veteran of the original Nintendo Helifire production. The cabinet was well kept along with three Williams cabinets in a temperature controlled industrial building's corporate office for "the kids and grandkids" to play. The owner seemed to think those days were over and had an employee make a CraigsList post this past Tuesday. I was working from home and spotted the ad with the Chrome CraigsList notifier plug-in and immediately texted the seller. The wife and I were in the Prius / trailer combo and there at the meeting time. Three employees had brought the machines downstairs and were also on hand to help me load the trailer. My awesome neighbors across the street helped me unload once home. This cabinet was the only one purported to be working. I have a photo of a distorted Popeye screen showing in theory its working. That's a bootleg Popeye board in there. I can see the control panel was modified to fit for Popeye. Today I plan to carefully take it apart to see what's still underneath. As for my plans with the machine long term? Probably will sell or trade if the right deal comes along. It's inside to be cleaned and pampered in the meantime.

Oh as for the other Williams games? All working. They're not retaining settings even after adding batteries so gotta search for that. Joust has a melty power connector so gonna replace the headers on that. All original hardware and in crazy good condition.

Thats wicked.

You should document the dimensions of the monitor box and shelf. Glad this made it into good hands and not gutted for MAME. :)

...whats the deal with the red paint markings on the back of the speaker panel? Overspray from something? It almost looks like they were gonna put two grills on it and had it marked off. Haha.

My guess is they had the front control panel parts stacked as they were being painted.

Sweet. Good luck if you will put it back to Helifire. As the previous owner of the Helifire in the pictures it's a fun journey. There is a restoration thread on my Helifire when I did it. The one I had was serial 1214 so only a few games earlier than this one.

Wow! I am trying to decide if I am more impressed with the score or that Prius hauling 4 games with room for two more. I don't know jack about heli-fire but twill be looking it up now. The Joust and Sinistar look awesome! Congrats!
