What a pathetic collection of Nintys you have, phet. Do you even have any of those still?

Honestly, yours, John's and Spy's are about as good as it gets. I doubt I could come close.

Well, mine's a survior so I didn't actually do a restore. The only things I did to it (aside from functionality repairs, e.g., cap kits, flyback replacement, etc.) was slap the PO and SPO reproduction sideart on the side, and the "Ducking Pull" sticker on the CP. Even the T-molding is original on it.

From what I've seen though, you do as good or better restores than anyone.

I documented my Punch-Out restore pretty thoroughly:

Awesome. I'll take a look. Thanks for the link.

Great game.

Agreed. It is my second favorite game, next to Super Punch-Out. I have both boardsets to use in my machine.

Cool, I never would have known.

Thanks, but time has become my enemy now. I have none of it. I would love to get back into restoring at least a game every 3 weeks, but it hasn't happened yet. I'll let you know when I have acquired a PunchOut to restore.

Great game.

That was quite a project. Great job.

The CPO looks to be in amazing condition (that's a rare thing for a PO). Mine's in good shape too, but it does have a few surface cracks (no cigarette burns or missing/torn/peeling pieces though).

I noticed in the early pictures that showed closeups of the CP that you were missing the dust washer for the joystick. Do you have one yet?

I like the base you built too. POs seemed to have a problem retaining their bases fully intact. I've seen them "in the wild" with missing bases (or missing pieces of the base) before.
