I thought I would post my restoration as I go for you guys to check out! I picked up a Dual monitor PC 10 from a Local guy for a few hundred and another empty dual monitor cab that was in better shape for $60. It was a POS but everything worked and all the pieces were there. The cabinet was pretty hammered as you will see from the pics. I have always wanted a really nice PC 10 but didnt want to pay a $1000 for one. More pics and updates to come!

PC 10 Update

Ok so now I got both cabs home and stripped them empty. I decided to start small and rebuild the control panel first. I ordered a new CPO from Arcade overlays. Disassembled and cleaned all the buttons and joysticks! And then the fun part came of stripping the CP. Then I put it all back together again. Laying the CPO was really stressful but I think it turned out perfect!

Cabinet repair

This is my first attempt at bondo. Its not as difficult as ppl make it out to be. Its messy, time consuming, and a general pain in the ass. It takes many coats to make it look good. You cant just repair a corner with 1 coat. I found that I needed to build the surfaces up! I removed the side art with my heat gun. Then I used my palm sander with 80 grit sand paper to remove any glue and to scuff up the sides. After that is when I started repairing the dents, gouges, scrapes, etc with bondo. Ill post more updates soon after I get it primed!

Sounds difficult.

Yes the outside of the cab will be otally smooth. The monitor brackets will be bolted to the cab from the inside. I bought some new hardware to do this! I can post pics later. And yes Phet bondo seems hard if youve never done it before. But its not like I stated.

Update

Took to my brother's body shop for paint! 2 coats of automotive primer and paint. Matte finish Looks absolutely amazing! I installed the Tmolding last night. Going to put everything else back in soon! Will update with more pics as I go!

Well it will be as nice at it can possibly be. Everything has been gone through and is in near perfect condition. It hasn't looked this good since it rolled out of the factory. There are a lot of nice resto's out there. But the attention to detail on this one is top notch. I'm not knocking anybody else restorations as many have done some awesome work. You just don't see too many dual monitor pc 10's get resto love. Phet's single monitor resto is pretty awesome. It made want to do mine. Thanks for checking it out!

Yours will look pretty awesome. Can't beat properly applied and cured automotive paint sprayed on a perfectly prepared surface.

Thanks Phet! I have admired your work for awhile! Really gave me the motivation to go above and beyond to do an excellent job on my resto's. All the projects you have done are all top shelf. As for the red tent I am definitely going recreate the textured look!
