I'm adding this up here to keep on topic.
I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I enjoy the games Peggle and Bookworm... Peggle is relatively short, but fun while it lasts. and Bookworm has almost infinite replayability.
You can buy them both pretty cheap, as well.
My pet hate is game shops that open games and put the empty cases on the shelves... I understand why they do it to deter theft, but once it's not sealed any more, the game isn't new to me anymore. Apart from scratched discs and dog eared manuals, the shop monkeys usually only make sure the cartridge/disc and manual are there. It could be missing leaflets, extra DL content codes, etc. They even do this to games that say the game is invalid for sale if seal is broken! I always ask for sealed stock, but it is harder to find a game sealed than not these days. AAAAGH!
What's worse is when you're the guy behind the counter is forced to open the games... I was one of the few who made sure to pull out all the content before placing the game out.
What's REALLY bad, is when some d-bag comes in and tries to argue how it's illegal, and basically tells us we have to pull the game... I'm not the one who made our policies, and Mr. Self righteous doesen't help any...
Last, but not least... is when I've had a few PC games sold and returned because the key was missing/already used... and what makes it even worse, is when I have the EXACT SAME GAME returned a second time, because even though I made sure it was marked defective, someone put it back out for sale...
I buy games that are sealed... I keep them sealed until I play them... you never know what's going to be super rare, and will be worth 10x more without a cracked seal...
sorry for the rant... it's a hot subject for me...
