A few people have asked about the parts to fix the connections on the other side of the CP harness. I have these as well and will sell them for a small fee. I have the 9 pin and 4 pin housings and female sockets. If interested let me know. Thanks, Barry

Dave and talked about using the edge connector for a DK/DKjr harness a while ago. It would be nice because it's one connection at the board and the other ends would be plug and plug and play such as....

Direct connection to the monitor audio 2pin and video 6pin
Plugs at the CP end 9pin and 4pin
Wires with termination for the coin door and service switch
For the power supply we could go either way...
plugs for a pp7a or pp7b
terminals for a switcher (no 24v for counter)

The big factors are time and money. What would a harness like that be worth?
We definately aren't making a ton of money on this so it would have to have alot of interest to make the initial investment.

The connectors we are using will plug directly on to the boardset. They do NOT have any form of "keying" so they could be plugged in backwards. We have kicked some ideas around about clearly marking the top side of the connector to avoid this. The other option id for an edge harness (which won't work for the DK 4 boardsets) - Barry

I think the keyless connectors would be work best, but like you mention the harness should come with a warning about plugging in the connectors backwards. Bob Roberts posted a warning on his drop-in power supply about having a load present before power up, you can sure bet I followed the directions then.
