Here are the pics of the Prototype of the Nintendo (DK Series) Control Panel Harness. The wire colors will be corrected at production time to better match the scat.

We are taking a List of who is interested in these. The cost is $15 shipped.

I'll take one.

My harness works well, but is slightly hacked back from a vs.

I would love to replace it with one of yours so its nice and mint.

Just send me a PM if you decide to make them.

I think that was sarcasm.

Not at all, it seems that people don't have any clue what the cost outlay is on a small project like this. Granted this is a much smaller scale than the Williams harness', my initial outlay on the Williams project was well over $1000.

Thats why I'm trying to support you doing this, my harness works good enough to not bother with it, but I think its awesome that someone is doing wire harnesses that match exactly like the originals, or damn close to it.

I like the idea of restoring every part of the cab, not just the parts that people see and these harnesses can help do that.

I hope you can get enough intrest to get the project off the ground.

From what limited machines I've seen, several of them had pins broken off on the CP harness. This is why this harness seems to make sense. - Barry

I need 12 people to make this happen. That is the break even point, in order to make it happen for $15 shipped.

The pins break due to age, and mis-handling.

Where did you find the original connectors?

The connectors are not original. They are damn close, and IMO actually fit together a lot better.

Would you count (in that 12 needed) someone needing the molex version Phet showed you? I need one of those.

I can't answer this until I find the correct connector, but I am hoping the answer will be yes.

I'm in for one if this happens.

Yep, I am in for 1 of the big molex style.

I need one of these. Count me in.

Guys, I am looking for that connector. I think Ken Layton said that it was an Amp Mate-N-Lok. The data sheets on these are total crap, I will order a couple and see what happens.
