I'm looking for joystick bolts for my Punch-Out!! These are the M4 chrome control panel carriage bolts, not the M3 bolts that Mike's sells for DK. I can only find one source so far, and it's in the UK.

Anybody know where to find these?

Thanks

We really (USA) suck when it comes to small metric carriage bolts. If you find them let me know.

How many do you guys need? I have 8 m4 x 35mm...a little long, but they work. I used one in my coin door and it fits fine other than being a little long. PM me if you want them, I can mail them out.

That's fantastic! I have a possibility of scoring a whole set, but I won't know until Monday. Otherwise I just need 4 for my joystick, and I'll definitely send you a PM if this does not come through.

By the way, this crosses to a Sega part number 031-000414-0C.

031 = Carriage Bolt
000414 = M4 x 14mm
0C = Chrome (sometimes shown OC)

I'm trying to order them from Sega. Mylstar has these in black, if anyone is looking for those.

I am actually looking for these as well.. short and long ones.. had to drill half of them out of my CP because they were spinning and no way to hold the carriage head while using socket..

I didn't realize there were two lengths. Are the longer ones on the joystick? Would you mind measuring the length? I believe the ones for the CP latch strike and the KO button are 14mm.

Sega responded today, and they have the 14mm screws and some 16mm (like the UK place) that are cheaper. I ordered 10 of the 14mm, so when they arrive I'll post some comparison photos. I am hopeful!

The screws came in yesterday, and I installed them today. They're perfect. Same size, same thread, same finish, everything. These are the 031-000414-0C, and they can be ordered from Sega Service. You can call the number on the website and get to the parts department.

They look good. (The old one is on the left ;))

Rather than go through all that trouble has anyone settled on an "American" option that can be gotten at Home Depot or the like? (I'm not anal about originality).

Yeah I had to different length carriage bolts on both of my panels that I had to drill out. I used to work for a company near where I live that makes bolts for John Deere and many other companies, a friend of mine still works there and he is going to see what he can do to get me hundreds of these made. So if I get them I will let everyone know.

Here is the company I used to work for.

Also another place locally that makes bolts I might try.
