I'm looking for a couple of coin switches for my Donkey Kong Jr.

I read a couple of other posts that point to AsahiSeikoUSA.com who make and sell the mechs. It looks like my mech could be (or be replaced by) a 730-A. They even show the switch and tripwire attached.

That's my only problem. The tripwire attaches to a rotating post on the switch body. Both the posts are broken off of mine, but the last owner left one in the coin box.

If you know of some place I can find the switches and tripwires, let me know.

I guess I could dive in for a whole new mech. I haven't checked how much they are.

See pics!

Apparently, I've never taken a real close look at ANY coin switches. These on the DKJr door aren't anything special. It looks like the same basic switch is used on lots of my games. The tripwire may be formed differently, but that's about it.

Thanks for the links. Bob Roberts also has them on his site.

OK- revisiting this...

The switches in the links above and on Bob's site don't work for me. I was told that I could drill two holes in the mounting bracket to accomodate the holes in the switch body being in the wrong corners. I don't like that. Besides, two of the terminal lugs stick out of the top of the body, interfering with a weight on the coin mechanism.

Does anybody sell new switches with the same mounting holes and the side terminals as pictured above?

Thanks-

The only difference between ALL of these coin switches are A. the length and the way the wire is bent, and B. the orientation of the two holes that hold it on the game.

Here's a link to one on MikesArcade that isn't exactly like the Nintendo switch, but it's pretty close and the holes are the right orientation so it'll fit and work for ya, Kerry.

Also, that type of switch is used on a ton of pinball machines. Here's a page with some stuff as well, they even sell just the wire if you want.
