Well, I figured I would post here and find out what you guys know about these things... from what I've read, they are the smallest game out there (short of a bartop), and can be easily separated from their base... can anyone give me more info, as I'm most likely going to try and track one down VERY soon. Oh, and if you have one in any shape, let me know.

Are you referring to the old plain jane ones, like Donkey Kong? The control is pretty horrible on these. Maybe you could get used to it, but the angle is crazy. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find one without too much hassle.

If you're referring to a Red Tent (the 2 sided machines) I think they're awesome! If you find it, buy it! :)

They're very similar to just your standard Space Invaders/Taito type cocktail game too, which you could probably get cheaper than the Nintendo ones. They are pretty small, yes.

There's actually 2 ways to remove the legs. You can remove the 2 bolts on each vertical pipe and remove the feet (leaving the pipes sticking down below the cab), or you can remove the whole bracket that includes the pipe. That one requires removing 3 bolts (one by the table top, and 2 on each side near the bottom, and also a couple screws from underneath. Doing that makes it pretty much sit flat. They can be hauled in the backseat of a car, and I suppose you could probably get it to sit on the front seat as well. The narrow dimension is only 22" on a DK. I've got a cocktail DK and the controls don't bother me at all.

I had a Popeye one. I found the angle of the controls to be no issue. You get used to it pretty quick. I sold mine only because I got an upright and it fit into my game room easier.
