I just finished digging the old brittle T-molding off my Donkey Kong, and pulling about 100 nails holding black molding onto my DK Junior.

So how far along the bottom edge (towards the back) should the T-molding run? There wasn't any in place on the bottom of my cabinets to go by.

The molding goes about 16" back from the front edge.
I just started the molding where it fit into the groove and ran it up the front and to the back edge.

Thanks!

I've been looking at pictures, and seen just about every variation between 3 inches and 16.

Okay that sentence really sounds bad... :tapedshut:

I've been looking at pictures, and seen just about every variation between just in from the front of the cabinet, to more than halfway back.

(That sounds better.)

Same here that's why I started the molding at the beginning of the groove on the bottom.
