No, not Fritz's daily Boysticks mating dance. I tried posting video of that once and got banned. I've been asked for some pics of the Nintendo base jig that I built into a corner of my project table. It's really a very simple.

After cutting and mitering the 4 boards to length for the base, I then cut 4 small wedges to use for strength inside the mitered corners. Assemble the whole thing with wood glue and 1 3/4" crown staples, then get it into the jig before the glue sets up. I used one of the 90 degree corners of the table as a starting point, then measured cut and installed two 3.5" wide lengths of 3/4" melamine coated particle board shelving as my guides. I used a 2 foot square inside the pieces and fastened them once square was achieved. I have three 4 foot bar clamps that I use in tandem to draw the assembled base into the jig (ideally you would use 4 of them, but I keep putting off buying another one as 3 works fine). I then let it set-up for about 12 - 24 hours, then pull the jig and begin filling staple holes and sanding to get ready for paint. Here are pics of the unfinished base in the jig:

Big fucking deal, is that all you guys like to do is try to find flaws? That is the back of the base that sits under the cab. I doubt too much flash photography will be taking place down there once it's in place.

I'm jealous of your space to do these projects. I have been looking at warehouse space here in the Bay Area to move my shop but it is hard to justify the price. One day I will have a house with a garage and I can compete with your beautiful work. Keep it up my friend, keep it up.

Just move out here. There are 3 homes currently for sale in my neighborhood, all with 3 car gayrages.

Phetishboy, I'm trying to make one of these myself, but my first attempt was a failure. What wood did you use, SPF?
