Nintendo Cabinet Adapter, old style to edge connector: anyone make it?

I have DK and a DKjunior and both are the old style with the bunch of header connectors, anyone make an adapter to switch it to the edge connector style? I want to be able to play DK3 on one of them, and I don't want to rewire the whole thing. I figured I will ask if anyone makes one before I spend my time wiring up my own.

I think Mark Spaeth makes these.

Since we're talking about Mark Spaeth's site, can anyone tell me if this actually is/does what it says it is/does?

It seems like this is the holy grail for Nintendo cab owners. I mentioned it the other day but nobody commented.
