I have a DKjr that is playing DKjr and DK3 inside it right now and I have a light box with a nintendo light fixture in it lighting up the DK3 marquee on top of the DKjr cabinet right above the cabinet DKjr marquee. My question is can I plug in two 100 volt nintendo light fixtures and the one Sanyo monitor into the 100 volt plug in the cabinet using a splitter? Is this safe? Would it be too much for the power supplying it? Also I know I can use a regular 120 volt light fixture and plug in to a home outlet just wanted to see if this has been done or if it can be done.

Thanks!

It will be fine. You can use a 120 fixture and it will also work off the 100 brick. The only thing to remember is don't plug the monitor in to anything other than a 100V iso trans.

I have used many modern replacements and plugged them into the 100 and they work perfectly, why exactly would it cause a "light show"?

I think it depends on whether it's old-school with ballast/transformer/starter or newer models that eliminate those things. My only experience is with a Walmart under the counter model that is the newer style... I installed it in my Multi Kong in 2007... it still works perfectly today.

Yes, I used modern style ones and no issues at all. I guess if the OP wanted to be could always tap the AC line before the trans if there is any doubt.
