Just realized that Nintendo buttons are smaller then your typical US buttons. (I'm a NOOB) I'm looking for a set or even just one yellow Nintendo button.

Thanks

Mikes arcade's buttons are just regular buttons that have been shaved down a bit. You can do the same yourself with a trusty dremel tool...

Trying to get some orange and blue nos buttons myself so I can get them fabricated so they'll be widely available and this crap won't be an issue for a lot of people. Can anyone help a klov brotha out?

I've got some beat ones with tons of burns on them...I don't know if that'll help.

A dremel huh ? Yet another tool I'll need in the tool box.
This DK Jr project is going to pose a tone of challenges.
Why cant it be simple like letting me use some US buttons and my existing drill bit. Why do I need a new bit.......argh........

I think that is what I'd do. (sand em)
It's just far easier. Not to mention then I can use existing switches I have, etc.
I have no dremel, so it would be a hand deal....but ah well, it has to be done.
I want to add 6 buttons to the DK Jr, but three are admin buttons that would be hidden.
Opinion question, should I still drill the holes in the MDF with the 1 1/8" bit or just get a 1 1/16" bit ?

I really hope this happens. I have been looking for a long time. My blue ones are really discolored, but I may have one in good shape aside from the color. I will try to find it in the mess I call a garage if you can use it. Then you would just need to find the right color.

Frizz,

What part of the button is shaved down? The bottom? thx

I just got some in from Mike's Arcade today and they don't look shaved anywhere. They honestly look like they were fabricated. I emailed them ahead of time and they sent me a list of other colors they can do as well (not just the orange and blue from their site). I got 2 each of orange, blue, green, & yellow. They look pretty good, I haven't put em in the cab yet as I forgot to get some more spacers but I'll play test them pretty soon.

Regardless of whether Mike's are shaved or fabbed, they aren't a close match color wise, so that's why a lot of people try to find nice used or NOS ones.
