So I have been working on my Donkey Kong control panel recently and some buttons are definitely better than others.

The better buttons seem to come down to two things: cleanliness and condition of the spring.

Is there anywhere I can just get new springs? That would probably increase their life indefinitely if you could just swap for a new springy spring.

And, as for cleaning the buttons any advice besides soap and water?

Thanks.

If you do some searches for Nintendo buttons there is a good tutorial out there on cleaning them up. I came across it when I was doing some research for my DK restore and it has some good tips. I didn't need to clean mine so I didn't bother with bookmarking it or anything.

I'd like to know where to pick up new springs also.
