Trying to figure out which boards can be swapped between cabs and which need some form of modification. I know that a Popeye board will work in a Mario Bros and certain. DK/DK Jr boards can be swapped. I hooked up a Popeye board to a spare DK3 can that I have and the screen display looks as if there are synch issues but the game itself seems to cling up and play fine. Is this something that can be easily fixed by moving. Pin connector locations or is it something more complicated?

I've had to adjust pots to sync different boards but nothing major... and if you have a 3 cab and rainbow cable I think you're in good shape for most swaps, except vertical and horizontal orientation of crt...

vert sync pot should be on remote board with volume and brightness etc, horz sync pot is buried on chassis between the flyback and crt, I've found it often takes a tweek on one or both to settle the screen

so the DK3 cab has a cage and the plate with the adapter. There are no pots on the Popeye board. When I put the Popeye in my Mario Bros cab it boots and plays fine. When I plug it into the DK3 the game plays but the screen looks like a synch issue as I mentioned before. The Popeye board does not have any pots actually on the board. I messed with the pots on the chasis briefly but no luck. Ran out of time to mess with it today, but hope to figure this out as I now have two DK3 cabs and would like to use Popeye in one of them if possible.
