How hard would it be to mount a WG monitor in a Nintendo cab?

Is it as simple as just taking the EZ20 out and dropping the WG in?

Thanks

The mounting frame is different, but if you can figure out how to adapt it, it's not hard.

Just remember that the Nintendo games used inverted video and had the sound board on the monitor, so if you intend to use it for a Nintendo game, you'll need the invert/sound board from Mike's Arcade...

I have a WG VGA arcade monitor - i am going to rewire the cab for a 48n1. It should be pretty easy other than the mounting of the monitor

Well, you just need to adapt the WG to the vertical bracket set-up on the cab so it secures properly. And you'd have to get a Nintendo cab to Jamma adapter and a switcher, or just rewire the cab for Jamma with a switcher. The 48-in-1 is standard Jamma.

Don't forget you will have to wire the monitor power cord to the distribution block side of the iso and not use the plug in the cab as it only has 100v.
