Nintendo $3,500 wooden table that doubles as a controller

The table is made using a combination of maple, walnut, and mahogany. Whenever you want to exercise your arms while playing, simply remove the glass on top. Interested? Well, retro gamers who are also fans of transforming furniture, we hope you have fat wallets... the table is up for sale $3,500.

Oh wow...

I mean that's cool and all, but not $3500 worth of cool. It's something for the hipsters to impress other hipsters with, I suppose? :D

From the article..
Enter this handcrafted wooden table that's not just a replica of NES controllers — it's actually a huge, functional controller in disguise.

Holy Shit! Imagine trying to enter the Konami code to play Contra on this beast! :D

In gameroom mag back in the day there was an article about a couple that made a big basass controller like that, but it was painted and looked more like the real thing. I wonder if this is a product from the same people?

This would go well with that guy who wants to make the 100 cartridge NES.

here's mine
One of these days I need to stencil the Nintendo logo instead of the stickers (wrong font)
