Im currently tring to fix a problem with this game. I was called out due to the colors being messed up. It seems to me that the green is completly gone. Its really dark , but i do have a washed out red screen and when i turn the contrast all the way done i see blue.I took off the neck board and checked the 3 transistors and they all check good . I also looked for any burnt traces or parts . I see nothing . What do i need to check to see what the F is up. I have no problem soldering or just ordering a new part or replacement but i really know it has to be something easy. I have read about doing a factory reset but is that the case woth the monitor loosing the green? need to get this thing fixed asap so any and all advice would be great . Thanks again guys hope you can help.

make sure it isn't the tube first.....take the backing off the neck board and short out (temp) the pad for the green gun, you can also test the other two while your back there. They are probably marked with a K or G designation along with the letter R for red, G for green and so forth. These tubes are known for losing a color or two, so you may need to rejuv. it to get your colors back. If the tube is good you can go into the factory mode and ramp up the green drive to help with a weak tube as well. Hold the first switch in and the third switch in on the sattlelite board for a couple seconds to bring up the factory mode screen and you can find the color adj. menu to make your adjustments.

How do you short out the green ? Never done that before need a littleore help or pictures would be great! Thanks for the help, I noticed that this game never gets turned off so god knows how long it's been on . It probably needs rejuv. Thanks again

Heres an update of what's going on. I went back to try the advanced settings and got a decent pic . I had to turn up the blue and green all the way up to get the colors to come back and I also had to crank the contrast as well. The colors came back but there is still a slight red tinge to the screen . I'm guessing that the monitor will have to be rejuvenated. Now I just have to find someone that can can do it. Thank for the tips.

Use the factory menu to turn the red gain down, you may also have to bump the red bias down as well. You should be able to get a pretty pure picture this way.

We have a D9200 here with a not-exact-match CDT in its red channel that's significantly more powerful than the factory transistors. Turning the gain way down produced a beautiful picture.
