You guys make all this stuff look so damn easy. Will someone please come work all this magic on my Omega Race that's been battling me for a YEAR???!!

(good work on the Quantum)

This thread rules! Great job Exidy. Thanks for bringing that game back.

Khabbi, quit messing around with those Stern pins and get to work on your Quantum. Thats a beauty!

Can you explain the Windex with the control panel?

I haven't done a CPO yet, but I have placed many stickers on windows where I used to work.

I'm assuming it's a similar process. Soak the CP with windex and place the overlay on it, the windex helps it slide around to be positioned properly. Then, smooth out the bubbles and squeegee excess out, let it dry and it's good to go.

Basically so you don't have to risk sticking it in the wrong place and damaging it by trying to reposition

The opposite. This Citristrip is slow and the paint on this game is thick, very thick. I swear this guy put 3-4 coats of paint on it. Its ridiculous. I am also not too happy with the art under the paint, but im willing to wait for the repro Quantum art :)

The second side was a lot easier to remove. the paint was only 1 layer. just have a few tough spots and ill be done.

Ha ha, must have been running low on paint on the 2nd side.

Nice work, can't wait to see the finished product.

The sideart looks great from a distance, Jon.

Yeah it does. There are some small dings and stuff. On the right side there are quite a few scratches. And some of the white is yellowed, like it absorbed the yellow paint. Otherwise it looks nice.
