Nice Quantum cab on Denver CL

So, as it stands right now, what are the prospects for restoring that machine, given which parts are floating around out there?

If anyone can do it, Exidy can. He probably has all the parts on hand already.

good luck and it's so totally worth it. i'm still kicking myself for not jumping on the one that came up for sale near Portland last year. at least i get to play it occasionally.

yes i got the game but unfortunately i dont have parts for this. Its gonna be a slow process :(

Jon,

The CL ad was gone by the time I saw this thread. Did the seller know what he had? :)

I told the guy what he had and he really didnt understand, even though I explained it to him 10 times. In the end he said he had another one... I asked him if he's sure its in the same cab. He said "its a WrestleWar"!

I picked up the first one but the guy claimed to have a second one. But he meant a second "WrestleWar" not a second Quantum cab. He didnt really understand that WrestleWar was a conversion.

Ray, the cab had a 4900 in it. I removed it and threw in an Amplifone.

Ah OK, now I got ya- I almost fell over to read that someone had 2 of these babies stowed away, probably in some leaky pole barn somewhere.

Does it still have the original Atari Serial # tag on the back, what is the serial # ?

Congrats on the pickup though. Looks very restorable, I'd take that challenge. Good luck with it, post pics when it's done!
