Nice moon patrol

Thanks for all the replies. I went by there tonight. I did not pay $1200 I got a lot of stuff from the seller and got a very good package deal price. And the seller has parts I need for another cabinet I have and going to work a great deal on all those as well as help me with the repairs. So all in all a great trip.

When I read the responses above, I only see thegleek and myself giving a QUANTITATIVE response with an actual $ value opinion on value of that particular game.
So, is this PRICE CHECK sub-forum only for QUALITATIVE responses? If so, how helpful is that? And as such, how does that make the Exidy "GUIDE" anything but more useful than this sub-forum.

The OP was provided a range of value by the Exidy Guide and I would claim that range is valid for that game even if it's in Georgia in 2021. :)
Would I pay inside that range? Nope. I still think most cabinets, working and in good shape, should be valued at $500 or less (unless it's a color vector). LOL
Glad I'm not in the market for a Discs of Tron.
I don't quite understand what you are getting at, but this is just a single post for moon patrol. There are plenty of other examples and inputs. I scanned and agree with the $700 -1250 range. Sometimes I like that post to show that or I'll add commentary. I only jumped in with my opinion about price checking guides :)

I guess what I'm getting at is that if I was to post for price guidance in a PRICE CHECK forum, I would want or prefer the responses to provide actual $ values, based on recent sales perhaps (if available), and not not just random comments or criticisms of online guides. But hey, this is KLOV. :)

The Exidy Price Guide is like an instruction manual you get with any purchase. You have the right to read it or not.

No worries of this thing happening because it very rarely ever happens unless someone is pushing a price to be 100% correct. But like all forums, a single person can derail a thread. It isn't fair to say they are random comments though.
