I got my 1st pin this week and I was lucky enough for it to be a NIB red Stern Spiderman. It was a real treat to unbox and set up. I felt like a kid a Christmas. I thought I would share pics.

Also, for anyone considering a NIB Stern pin, the customer friendly setup videos were really helpful for those that like lots of detail (like me).

Sweet! Nothing like the feeling of getting a NIB Pinball.

Just a week ago I bought my first one, a NIB LOTR LE... so I know the feeling!

Congrats!

Congrats...Just got my first pin 2 weeks ago...NIB Spider-Man...I used those vids to help me set-up...Awesome Pin........

Spider-man is definitely one of the best, if not the best, Stern games out right now. Really fun to play, great shots, and some amazing mods for it. I highly suggest looking up some of the GI (General Illumination) mods for that game. There is a blue mod that really makes the back of the game look amazing.

Spiderman is definitely one of the best. I'd lump Lord of the Rings in there as one of Stern's best also.

My next pin will be Iron Man, I've played it 4 times and I couldn't walk away from it every time I played it. Plus I love the Iron Man series. Just stay away from the "Classic" version, the best part of the game is the magnets and war machine, and those were removed from the Classic version.

awesome.

i know it's not the best bang for your buck, but i really hope to get a NIB pin one of these days....the feeling of opening that bad boy up and knowing you're the only one to ever own it has got to be amazing.

maybe tron....if it comes to pass.....and if the wifey allows it. ;)

Just like a new car, a NIB pin is something I never plan on owning. But I would absolutely love it. I would baby the living crap out of it. Waxing once a week. Most of us are getting 20 year old machines that have only been repaired when something breaks and little preventive care.

I baby the ever loving crap out of my machines. Just placed a $200 order with pinball life for little rebuilds and preventive stuff. Looked at my account and I have spent around $700 just at pinball life on my 4 pins, and much more at other places. I want them to be in tip top shape and play as good as they can. It is worth it to me though.

I am sure you will treat that spiderman good and enjoy the heck out of it.

Do new sterns come with mylar? You better just go and way that playfield here soon just to show her you love her ;)
