While looking around for APB stuff I came across the Coin-Op Space page people were telling me about. While reading the comments, I saw one posting and subsequent photo gallery of a new in box APB. Wow, what a find! I also ran across several NIB Gauntlets on various other pages that guys had found/bought. Who here has been lucky enough to find any classic NIB? And if so, did anyone do a picture series of unpacking or opening it? That would be very cool to see.

I'd have loved the machine, but I'm not sure I'd ever want to remove it from the box. Seems just too nice to risk scuffing up.

Yeah, really! I'd be a little (or a lot) conflicted about unboxing it and playing any NIB classic. Although, it would be really cool to open it up and see those original manuals in a brand new state and look at the fresh, crisp overlay/sideart. Would be a little like opening a time capsule in some respects. Maybe one day.....

i dunno. if i had the cash and they were still available i'd grab one of the robotron mini's. but i would play it. i wouldn't bother buying if it was just gonna stay crated forever. you just have to take good care of it...

A friend of mine scored a NIB Make Trax upright a couple of years ago from a warehouse raid up in Canada. Yes, it's uncrated and he plays it regularly, but all his games are in mint condition and he knows how to baby it.

Paint was scuffed a tad on a couple of corners from the crate, but otherwise it's flawless. Here are a few crappy pics:

Very cool. I wonder how these things stayed box so long? People not paying for them (although I'd hope whoever ordered it would collect up front), a location closing down, buyer/op passing away before getting it set up, maybe? The only NIB older stuff I ever found was a Briggs carburetor, but that's a story for a totally different forum. :)

Google the time travel warehouse find or john's jukes - they had tons of NIB games from the find and none of them sold cheaply

I scored several of those Time Warehouse games from different collectors who had gotten in on the early raid when there was literally floors and floors in that warehouse of NIB games..and the ones that were not in the boxes or crates were still strapped to pallets but just had the boxes removed...certainly one of the best finds ever...I don't have time to dig out all the pictures I've taken but so far I've gotten the following nib games from that find...
NIB Joust
NIB Make Trax upright
NIB Make Trax mini
NIB Robotron mini
NIB Space Panic upright
NIB Zero Hour upright-Still boxed
NIB Atari Sub-Still boxed
NIB Naomi upright version of Jack the Giant Killer
NIB Jack the giant killer cocktail

I'm working on deal for one or two more in future...I enjoy playing them and just make sure to take care when moving them etc...remember even new games had flaws from factory..when they made these over 30 plus years ago they didn't make them for collectors..they made them fast and quick to get out to make money for the vendors..so flaws in paint etc...was not uncommon..on my robotron you can see where their quality control did a few touchups to paint flaws...to me those are cool reminders of a time long since gone.

I live in BC, these NIB games from Johns Jukes show up a lot on Craigs list etc... I picked up a Robotron mini NIB from John after 4 years of dealing! I believe he has two left, (although he is saying there is only one, John is like that).

I took lots of pic's and video's etc... Here are a few of the photo's

Nice! Thanks for the pictures, Braido.

I just Googled around about the TTW; damn that was some find. Once in a lifetime I'll bet (unless there's some other undiscovered warehouse out there with a ton of games in it). I read the bits and pieces I could find about it; did all those games come to be due to a defunct amusement company (that's how I'm reading it, anyway)? I guess said company had a whole bunch of cabs it ordered and then up and closed its door?

I bought a NIB Koozmik Kroozer back in 1997 or 98.

And, being a small op since 1985, I have bought dozens of NIB games over the years but they were for my route, except the pins, which I kept at home. The pins have since been sold.
