Hi everyone,
I want to first give my thanks to everyone on KLOV for your wealth of knowledge and generosity.
This cabinet has come a long way. I got one of those Double Dragon arcade conversion with a good CRT burn of Moon Patrol. I did research to find the cabinet matched Moon Patrol cabinet but there was something unusual. There were patch holes on the control panel. This was not a pattern any game that I knew. Only to find out it was for NFL Football, not NFL Blitz, CED video disc game from 1983.
Given the long history of this cabinet, this cabinet is far from original. I wasn't torn to make this cab a Mame box.
I did find RCA XL-100 and swapped out the crt tube which is a perfect replacement for my Well Gardner K4900. I just recently found the perfect digital marquee 25 in x 5.5 in which fits exactly the width of NFL cabinet. I have purchased a variety of temporary stretch bar lcd but this is the one that I have been waiting for from Amazon under $110 on sale now.
I did have to knock off marquee left and right block to allow the display to fit deeper. I did buy need to by a right angle 270 HDMI connector to avoid strain on the HDMI cable.
I wanted to share what it looks like.
Thanks again.
