I Recently bought a 97 NFL blitz arcade machine. When you plug it in the game sounds work and I am positive the game works but the monitor displays nothing. I opened up the back and it looks as if the monitor chassis is missing or whatever it is that drives the video? I have taken pics and put them below. Can anyone help me identify what I am missing and where to buy it(how much)? Thanks so much!

You're missing the monitor chassis. If the cab is a dedicated NFL blitz it was probably needs medium resolution one.

probably takes a U5000. K7500 had a big label saying REPLACE WITH K7500 CHASSIS ONLY on it, lol.

it looks like you still have the wiring to the remote board... is the remote board still intact? read the numbers, it'll start with a P, that'll be a step in the right direction to finding out what you need.

I have gobs of U5000s and K7500s, but they were part of a parts lot and they all probably need work.

Measure the yoke. That will tell you whether you need a K7500 or a U5000...

Looks like the same tube to my 99 blitz thats a K7500. Cheapest way that works for me is go on ebay and look up completed listings of whole monitors that dont sell and offer seller $50 plus shipping for the board, I have picked up a few that way.

no shit? do they ship 25"? I have a Polo that's been rebuilt multiple times, possible cause might be the yoke. really wish I could grab a K7000 or two, those things are solid.

One other snafu is the fact that you don't even know if the tube is good. you may get a chassis and the tube may be poo. But you pretty much have no other choice.

Blitz 97 is switchable between standard res and medium res, so that could have been a K7400/7401 series chassis.

As mecha187 mentioned, get the number off the remote board, should be something like P790.

Surprised the seller didn't mention the missing chassis, you sounded as if you had no idea the way you posted about it.
Kinda a big deal to find out the entire chassis is missing, broke is one thing, but missing ??

If it's a K7500, it'll be P804...

Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys. Looks like the board is a p718. I have taken two close up pics of it. It looks to be in good condition but who knows. I don't see any stickers saying replace with only this or that. I knew when I bought it that it was missing something for the monitor. I just thought it might be cheap to find. Mecha..what monitor do you think it is now? If you have and extra chassis maybe we could make a deal? Thanks again for all the help guys!

that's right. K7500s lack the H-Hold pot on the remote board and instead have them on the deflection board. :)

I'll see if I can piece together a complete chassis that works. I have a few where the flybacks were eaten up by hungry ninjas or the anode cups are like totally gone.

it'll be a fun exercise for me. I hope there's no rush, I'd really like to help you out with this.

Sounds great! What is the ballpark on price? I saw some non- working in the for sale section but I'd much rather have one that works.
