My wife picked this up at a garage sale. Man, the feeling of those pegs popping the paper and lighting up brough me back about 35 years. Any other ideas for good gameroom related pictures to do?

Sweet pickup! Need to find one of those for the Gameroom! classic!

Dude, I think your game room has enough stuff to keep someone occupied for hours. Seriously, major sensory overload, but pure awesomeness. I have to see it sometime. :)

Now, I need to find a lite-brite now. Thanks for the idea!

HAAAHaa!! Yeah tell me about it! The doors are always open to play eseyo1

And suddenly, craigslist and eBay were abuzz with massive searching for "Light Brite" and "Lite Brite!"

Very cool! I've had the same idea. Everytime I see one for cheap at a secondhand or a yard sale, I grab it up. Plan on doing some artwork with them. I got 5 or 6 so far.

Can I trouble you guys to ask what you paid for these, just for reference? I see a few on eBay for < $20 and some that are way more expensive...

I have never paid more than 4 or 5 dollars for the ones I find and all but one I have came in a box loaded with pegs and used and unused inserts. One of mine I had to replace the lightbulb on. But I'm also not out actively looking for them, either. I see one used, it's cheap, I buy it.

Very cool! I loved playing with lite brite back in the 70's. It was so cool to look at your creation when the lights went out and the lite brite came on.....

Very cool... I'd get that firestarter out of your ceiling though (referring to the incandescent blacklight bulb) ;) . The CFL blacklight bulbs put out better BL, and don't get insanely hot.

She bought it for $3. It was in it's original 70's box with a crapload of pegs and unused paper inserts.

@DogP - yeah, that blacklight bulb doesn't really do much anyway. I have a fluorescent bl bulb in another fixture and it's great.
