Newest (And Most Time Consuming) Restoration - RARE ONE!

I picked this up from a member here a couple of years ago and had it shipped from somewhere. I wish I could remember who sold it to me. I think it came from Kansas or nebraska or somewhere out that way. I've been working on it on and off for the past couple of years and tonite, it finally came to life.
I started out by doing the cabinet work. I had to use a little Bondo on some of the chew up bottom edges. Then I masked off the sideart (Which was in amazing shape!) and sprayed the sides and front. I took the playfield to NwoJedi (Neo) for a full restoration. Touchup and clearcoat. A friend of mine (Tim Nobling) baked the playfield plastics to straighten them and remove the waves. I added new rubbers and balls to the playfield.
Then I had BillyBob make me a new CPO. He did this by using my existing one as a guide. this turned out great! I found a guy who had repro'd the bezel and ordered one. I applied new T-Molding, had all metal powdercoated, recapped and rejuvinated the monitor, reassembled the machine, and plugged it in.
Ugh! No dice. It had a bad Vidiot Deluxe board. I looked for a year and a half for a new one. Durring that year and a half, I sent it to a couple people to repair. they had no luck fixing it. Finally, I broke down and called Eldorado Games. I sent it to them. Today, i got it back and it works perfectly! Here's the pics:

Now I'll be on the hunt for either a Gottleib caveman or Journey machine as my next restorations for my arcade. Until then, I'll be plugging away at my Dad's jukebox:

I'm pretty sure you got it from 2PacMan in Omaha Nebraska. I saw this machine in person, it was a considerable/costly project.

Congrats on a job well done.

Yep, 2Pacman is the guy. It was costly, but I got a rare minty machine out of it. The pic of the jukebox is an old pic. That was my old storage unit. Every one of those machines was sold a while ago. The juke is a 1947 Seeburg trashcan.

Yeah, that used to be my machine. Great job on the restoration! It's great to see that machine up and running and in great shape, looks amazing, way to go!

That's a pretty sweet looking cabinet, awesome job on the restore!

It really shows whenever someone goes all out on a restoration.
