I had one of these when I was 7. My mom bought it for me for Christmas. Well, as a kid I really didn't understand it so I sold it at a garage sale for a buck about 3 years later. I saw one on ebay on Friday, made the seller an offer, he said no, let the auction run. So I put in a bid and won the auction tonight for $21 less than I was gonna offer him. I am really psyched man. I know some may think it's kinda weak, but I really miss mine and can't wait to play this again. I give you, Mattel's Horoscope Computer:

It's going on a pedestal in my arcade. I love the artwork on this thing. Anyone else ever (still) have one?

It's a really weird electronic toy. You push a topic button and then your astrological sign and you get a horoscope reading. You can also push a combo of buttons to see if certain signs are compatible for choosing a prospective mate. The instructions say the predictions and advice are only good from '79-1987. Strange.

That's gay. What's next? A Nintendo Love Tester?

Myself, I just picked up the Mattel Dungeons & Dragons handheld game off of ebay. The gameplay is fucking terrible. The only other Mattel handhelds I want are Masters of the Universe and Burgertime (had it as a kid).

I am looking for Mattel's Slalom Ski next. If you have one, I have many things to trade, including a 5 minute forehead bopping.

I think you mean Ski Slalom. There's one on ebay right now, but he wants too much. I have a few of them, but I'd need at least 15 minutes of your time to part with it.

A thousand pardons, Ski Slalom is correct. If you really have one, swing by my office with your eyes closed and your hand cupped in a thick, multi-layered 'C'. We'll trade a hand held for a hand held.

I don't actually have one, but now I may have to track one down.

I've been trying to track down a Nintendo Rain Shower for a while. I lost the last one that came up for action on ebay at a reasonable price due to my wife's laggy laptop.

Here's a short list & reviews for the arcade-based handhelds I own:

Bandai/Konami Tutankham - Very faithful to the arcade for a handheld. Lots of fun. I need another one, though, `cause it's rare, and I don't want to wear out the one I own any further. Mine's the orange Japan release.

Bandai/Konami Hyper Olympic - Plays 5 track and field events; the handheld port of Hyper Sports. Loyal to the arcade, right down to the "run" buttons. A blast to play. They made LCD versions, but mine is the VFD version. Again, old, delicate, and it'd be nice to have a duplicate to hammer on.

Tomy Mr. Do - Ridiculously faithful and one of the best arcade-to-handheld translations, period. I also have a Mr. Go handheld; same game.

Can you post a pic of this one? Sounds awesome, and I just traded my full size Tut away a month back.
