You can do that? What kind of voltage does the yoke get? Wouldn't that mess with the picture somewhat? I would think you wouldn't want to run the wires too long. Would a relay be better?
I've read that you can. Bob Roberts says on this page that a great number of sites mention how to do it with a switch, although I don't know where these great number of sites are

I'm not sure of the voltage though, and had planned on using a couple heavy duty DPDT switches. Only problem is the wires aren't very long and I'm not sure if I could mount them anywhere without splicing another length of wire in
