I wonder what the all time high score is for a game of DK on a cocktail machine.

The only cocktail machines I ever played with any regularity were Pong clones in the early and mid 1970s. It was the first video game I ever played. IMHO Pong is one of the few games that is better as a cocktail than a stand-up.

my personal high score on DK, which was on my cocktail, is 90k roughly. made it past the 3rd elevator, and died on the girder screen i think. i haven't been playing regularly so i'll need to play some games to get back up there though.
