I recently picked up a centipede with an RCA monitor and Eygo chassis which the seller had recently capped and rejuved. It worked fine for 2 days excepting a little discoloration in the lower right hand corner. I opened the control panel to tighten up the track ball, and when I closed it up and powered back on, I had a 1" image curl along the left hand side and new discoloration on the upper left quarter of the screen. I checked all the connections and adjusted all pots and and other settings to no avail.

What else can I do?

Thanks!

Not the best pic, but you can see the left side of my screen looks like it had a stroke.

More info:

When I started tonight, the curl was minimal if not non-existent. over the course of an hour is got progressively worse and spread out to a third of the way across the screen. Seems like something is heat up and not doing its job.....

Did try adjusting the picture using the pots on the remote board that is monitor just below the monitor in the back? The pots are really, really touchy just try to bump them a little.

Yeah ... I.m still playing around with them to get them just right. But I don't think this can adjusted out. It starts out fine, than gets progressively worse over the course of an hour, and then after an hour the left side of the screen has a as light moving ripple effect. I don't know electronics very well, but based on what I have read here, it sounds like a capacitor of some sort? Yet, I konw the monitor was just recapped.... not sure what to do.

The chassis thats in there is a direct replacement for the G07 chassis. You do have the choice to swap a G07 chassis back in there. Same yoke is used on both chassis.

Also try reseating the smaller edge connector on the main board, thats the video connection. I replaced the pins on the connector, but maybe its still dirty and needs
more cleaning the connection.
