So, monitor repair is kinda new to me and now I've got three new projects that require monitor repair:

P.O.W. cabinet with a 19" Horiz. WG. I'm assuming the FLYBK is bad, since there was no discharge when I shorted the anode. I have no idea how to ID this chassis so that I can get a new flyback or HOT or cap kit.

Golden Tee Fore! 2003 w/ 27" WG. The full model is, I think, a WGM2792-U0TS09B. Again, no discharge when shorting the anode. I need to know what info is needed to order cap kit, flyback and HOT.

Time Crisis w/ 27" WG. I think I have the model written down just not with me now. This monitor has an audible clicking sound, but I can't tell if it's a relay or the flyback, but again I have no idea what I need to search for in regards to a cap kit, HOT or flyback.

Any help would be appreciated.

We need pictures of the main circuit boards for each monitor. We don't need any pictures of the picture tube. Numbers that start with WG really don't help us - those are serial numbers. Better numbers would be ones that start with 19K or 25K or 27K.

Pics, must have pics.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the info on your Golden Tee Fore! cab. That monitor is a Wells Gardner D9200 Tri-sync monitor. Very valuable monitor to have working. Worth fixing.

Golden Tee Chassis

I've uploaded a pic of the chassis that came out of Golden Tee Fore! 2003. How would a newb know that this is a D9200, since I cannot seem to find any identifying marks to that end?

POW chassis

Typical garden variety K7xxx chassis. I can't tell from the picture, but if the flyback has white knobs, then there's a pretty good chance that's your problem.

I suggest:

K7xxx: Full rebuild kit, including HOT, regulator, caps, fly, and fuses.
U2000: Full cap kit. (fly should be good)
D9200: Out of my league. I haven't worked on this monitor before. Based on what you say, caps and fly can't hurt.

Thanks a million for the info! Is there anything that would help me ID these in the future on my own, i.e. markings, etc.? Also, do you have any recommendations as to component suppliers?

for the K7000 i stock all the parts you will need including the fly, caps and others.

you have some work ahead of you good luck!!

Peace
