Newbie just got Crystal Castles...

Thanks for that - I just researched it a bit and nice to know parts are out there...I'll cross that bridge when it comes...at this point, if it isn't broken, I am not inclined to fix it. Like many, I tend to recall saying in the past: "Why oh why did I have to fix that when it was already working."

I can understand where you are coming from, especially if you haven't had to work on monitors before. I look at it more as preventative maintenance, but I too have had moments where I tried to fix what wasn't broken. If you or someone else works on the monitor, I highly recommend replacing the flyback while you have the monitor and/or chassis removed.
