Im into pinballs and just got my hands on a orig.pac man with an upright cabinet. The first thing I did was clean and checked the fuse holders.I powered it up and I can start a game I have sound, the controls seem to work, but I have no monitor. It is completely black.I checked the tube for a glow and some sort of static elec. from it but nothing! What is my next move what type and mfg.is my tube/circuit.etc.the tube says (rca)Thank you for your help.Matthew

And with that... this should be in the monitor section.

I checked it again it is a(go7)I see that you can get kits to repair them but I was wondering if I could exchange my unit or have someone repair it.Thanks,Matthew

If theres no neck glow, theres some other power problem. Check and double check the fuses on the monitor circuit board and re seat all the connections just to be safe.

Yes there are places you can send the monitor chassis to be repaired. Also, where are you located? Maybe another KLOV member local to you would be willing to help you out. The G07 is a very common monitor and when you find them in a dead state, it's best to just install the rebuild kits and be done with it, especially if you're keeping it for your collection. I would do what Dokert said and verify that you have power going into the monitor just to be safe, but again finding a G07 that's dead is pretty common. There's a good chance the monitor will work after it's been rebuilt. Since you are into pinball machines, are you tech savy at all? I mean if you've worked on the logic boards of a pin, those skills will definitely come in handy on arcade repair. :)
