I've used Newark.com for probably 10 years now for everything, because they're in South Carolina and if I order something, the next day I get the parts since they ship them at like midnight, the ups truck takes them to Columbia, then Rock Hill, and they're out for delivery the next day for the normal shipping rate.
Well the government's reaction to Covid has completely destroyed their company of course, so they can't hire anybody and the people they do hire won't work, so now when you order things they don't even fill the order sometimes. So I have an order i've been waiting on, it's 'on hold'... they never contacted me, and when I call they say it was just placed on hold because of a billing issue. I try to pay them some other way, the person on the phone can't figure out what's happening and they sound like they're eating dinner.
This is an international company, completely driving themselves into the ground, is Digikey and Mouser the same now, or is their service better? I typically order strange stuff, like I just ordered 20 or 30 different items to rebuild a jukebox amplifier. Newark has a huge selection of stuff for things like that, but they're useless if they won't pick the parts and throw them in a box.
Who's everybody using? I don't need 10uf50v caps I need .0033uf 450v film caps and crap like that in obscure equipment...
