With your Ass.
Darn it, I was bending over to get something out of a cabinet and pssssssssssst, turned around and there was the neck board dangling. Oh well at least it was a crappy 13" with bad screen burn.

Never set a monitor on the floor if its not neccesary. I have never done it but have had two in my shop get busted by other people not watching where they were going. Luckily one was severely burned and the second was broke by the owner.
At least yours was a 13".

At least yours wasn't a WG6100 with no screen burn, like mine... :-(

My last cab purchase at the auction was a Williams cab that had a monitor in it which appeared to be anchored. Except there were no nuts on the bolts holding the monitor in.

Laid it over on the truck and PPPSSSSSHHHHTTT! F***!

Oh well.

I had a game I just bought fall off the back of a truck making a left turn. It bounced off the street and rolled once onto to the sidewalk. Went to pick up the pieces and say the monitor was still intact. Got it home and sure enough the monitor worked!

I would have been sick...

I had one sitting in the floor and accidently bumped and broke the neck. It was a brand new monitor, but a cheapo one from an auction that I only paid $50 for. Still....

OK somebody has to add something funny to this thread.....many years ago I was living in Vancouver with my brother....one day we were walking to the skytrain station...as we passed an alley we saw and old zenith 27 inch console TV....one of those huge wood mo-fo's that weigh a ton and it was half destroyed by the person who took it out of the house....we looked at it and suddenly an idea struck us at the same time.....big train bridge 2 blocks back + big 27 inch TV tube = big boom.We ripped apart the sucker and got the tube out....walked back to the train bridge and then played best of 7 rock paper scizzors to decide who got to drop it...I did not win.The drop was about 80 feet onto the railroad tracks and there was no chance of hitting a person as the tracks were isolated and it was also a small tunnel.....well the boom that let off when that tube it the tracks was particularly satisfying and well worth the 20 minutes we spent on doing it.
