Dont know if you guys are buying these, but they are doing a pre order for asteroids until 10/4. pre order price is $99. I put it in my cart but was going to order it later, and the they sent me an extra 10% off coupon.

they are selling a limited restored verson with cig burn on panel and wear on owl door.

I just got my tracking info yesterday for Dragon's Lair, just waiting now.....should have it in a day or so. I preordered the Asteroids replicade as well. I believe the refurbished Asteroids with the authentic sig burns and blue T molding is sold out already. These are great little mini arcade machines. I've purchased a few of these over the last couple of years. They compliment the full size machines well.

My neighbor just got his today, here are a few pictures of the unboxing of Dragon's Lair. Enjoy!

This machine is cool. I hope we can get a 3/4 size one soon...

I got a deal on a Tempest (before unexpectedly getting a deal on a real Tempest), and it's a cool little toy. Shame there's no way to do a real spinner at that scale, though.

Im curious as to how the dragon layer plays? might pick one up, if i can get a little feedback on it. thanks

The DL seems very well thought out and detailed. Nice screen. I assume the little stick and buttons work well enough.
Ordered one today myself to carry me over till I can make a real one. LOL :)

Also ordered the DL. I wasn't going to get one of these if I had the real thing so never got a centipede or tempest even though they're also very well done. Might get the asteroids but have that too. But when I saw the miniature pioneer 7820 and disc that put it over the top. I had a bunch of laser stuff when first in the hobby and several 7820's and ldv1000's but sold it all (dumb). Not thinking I'll ever get one again this is a great substitute and can hook it up to a larger screen. The amount of detail they put into these is amazing

you might have a better shot of getting the replicated 7820 to work than an original 7820..

I hear the tempest one in not good as its a rotary spinner, so you cant let spin it and let it fly. but it does look cool. I need to check to see if I bought one..

the 7820's definitely broke down but 2 I had worked great IIRC but that was like 1989-1990, got lucky and found a near perfect in use in university lecture hall in their media storage room with remote, another from dist. had the DL disc in it. probably had over 10 players at some point used in most of the games.
Yeah tempest I almost got a year ago think it was under $100 but then didn't. I hope they come out with a space ace and cobra command :)

It is not a free-turning spinner. But I don't think one is possible at that size. You just can't get the dial and counterweight up enough.

There is a menu setting that let's you set the free spin rate....or ay least the simulated free spin rate. If you play with it a bit you can get it close, and it does play just fine. Just like anything miniaturized, it takes some getting use to. I just love my ReplicadeTempest!

Dragon's Lair is getting a lot of great feedback from one of the groups, the detail is amazing, we saw a post where it's connected to a hdmi TV and picture quality is pretty good, he also had a USB joystick hooked up while playing the game on his TV, the mini laser disc player and the laser disc is really a great addition, I was told all backers will have there's shipped out tomorrow 11/4 and all other orders will start to ship in the next few days, lead on adventurer your quest awaits

Man, it's a sad time when people pay good money for cheap crappy imitation toys vaguely shaped like the original cabinets. But enough about Arcade1ups, these things look dope. Wish I had a good spot to display stuff like this, I'd get them as they come out and post similarly sized action figures near them.

Just got my DL replicade and love it. This thing is amazing. Definitely recommend getting one even if you have the real thing
