I posted on CL looking for a Tron - I get an email (which btw is valid so read my response at the bottom.) It's bad enough when you try to SELL you get scammers trying to pull the western union BS but now SPAM off of a WTB??? Greeeaaat.

Howdy,

Recently found your wanted ad on cl.org looking for WTB Tron Arcade - $700 (Gresham).

I just bought a new one so am giving my old one away.
I put some images on this image host so you can see if it is what you are looking for.

If it is then let me know.

I responded:
Yeah thanks for wasting my time you fucktard.
Your mother must be so proud to have raised an asshat like you.

Needless to say no response

I can't stand to use Cl anymore. The last two machines I listed over the weekend I had people ONLY call my phone number I listed. Freaking emails are time waste BS.

This is usually what I get on emails:

1. The "Hello kind sir, I would like to buy your said item for pickup" bullshit scam

2. The "Have you lost your job? Need cash? Work from home!" assholes

3. The "Hey saw your ad, have you tried using this new, cool listing site?" dipshits

4. And of course the usual tire kicker/ time wasters who email you fifty times asking questions but never show.

I made the mistake of putting my phone number on an ad and had some jerkwad automated message thing call me a couple of times offering a service to sell my crap through them instead of CL.

So, I deleted the posting...

Never waste your time on CL; 90% are the nation's lowest scumbags. Of course if you can weed thu the BS and have pretty thick skin, once in a while you may get a good deal. Selling is a different story.
