I see the 60-1 has jumped to 276-1, but it is the newer mame design set up. I guess we are in for another round of headaches. Waiting for a review I guess.......

i doubt you'll see anyone reviewing them or bragging they bought one after the last round of bad design on the 128 in 1 POS board. Buying one and expecting any level of quality would be ignorance and I doubt anyone will be bragging about it here. :)

Same identical board design as the 138 in one horizontal with SD card. (unless they used the same picture). Very similar to the recent 128-in-1 horizontal with SD card fiasco (which looked like a 48/60-in-1 as the starting base with a faster CPU/memory added as a daughter card and a SD card replacing the EPROM.). The new ones look like a further mod of the 128 but comparing to a 48/60 they are now totally different.

For games... talk about clone-city. Frogger, Frog, Astro*, Ms. Pac*, etc.. Probably less than 150 unique games on it at first glance.

Found some info elsewhere. Appears to be on the same pcb as the 138-in-1 horizontal:

For some reason, the games below aren't supported for cocktail mode? I can understand two-player simultaneous like 1943, but Millipede or Arkanoid?

sad part is 90% of the added games suck. Certainly a few gems added but mostly crap.

I could only find 63 out of 276 that I would enable. Probably half of those are on the original 60 in 1 line up, possibly more. Not all 63 are really even must haves just interesting enough to occasionally play.

Nice!

And these...

Super Basketball

Vs. Gong Fight

...not great games, but ones I've wanted to have in a cabinet since forever.

Hot damn, Phozon and TOWER OF DRUAGA!? I have to have this unless it is SERIOUSLY borked. Anyone tried one firsthand yet!?

That is the exact same interface as the 138 in 1. If it's anything like the 128 or 138, I wouldn't waste my time or money, again.

What he said.

Seriously if it's the same board as the 138 in 1 (and it looks like it) it's going to totally craptastic. It'll probably make the 60 in 1 look good, and that's saying something.

ArcadeSD is the way to go.

I have not idea why they put so much effort into the hardware and do such a crap job on the menu etc. It just looks like crap. Perhaps someone can hack this mess and make a new menu static screen which then would get hacked and resold :) Keep supporting efforts such as ArcadeSD and Hyperspin for the Mame Cabs those are worthy efforts.

Yeah. I'm currently going through all the games via MAME to check out which are uniques and which are copies of other games already on there (like Frog and Frogger). Then I'll go through and check controls for each to see if there are any other issues besides the 4-way/8-way argument.

There are some weird ones on there for sure, but titles like Circus Charlie, Eyes, Fantasy, etc may make it worth picking up for the $90 - simply because I may never find these in a dedicated...

welink has them for $98 plus shipping
they have a pdf file of the game list
www.welink.cc

Looks like the price just doubled to $188? I was mildly interested at $98 since it has the early Capcom games and some other games the Phoenix arcadeSD doesn't have (currently at least). At the higher price point I'm more "meh" and will wait it out a little longer to decide if I want to take the plunge on the arcadeSD for the vertical games.

Where is it $188? Excellent says $90 + shipping. Usually the website lists as a lot higher, but if you email you get the lower price..
.

For Rockola games like Eyes and Nibbler, it may be worth checking out. Hope it's the under $100 price tag.

Oh, yeah I was just going off what the website was showing. I didn't know there was a special e-mail price. :)
